Branko Galoić — Danse de la Liberté
Croatian composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter Branko Galoić’s inspirations draw, much like himself, from a variety of worlds. His roots are in Balkan & Brass music which he combines with a folk hero voice and a fondness for gypsy jazz, rock and film music. There’s a Eastern-Europe feelgood festivity at work here, and a sensual, slavic wave which these songs and instrumentals embrace with happiness. Infuse your festive features, comedies, dramedies and trailers with a tightly-wound, excited and euphoric feeling. These mostly uplifting, upbeat, positive, sometimes quirky compositions sometimes give in to romance and emotion, with a touch of melancholia.
